Susanne has been facilitating across cultures for more than 20 years, with a focus on integrating new ideas through experiential activities. Her most current work with global corporations has been building and facilitating virtual teams, supporting multipliers in their transfer of knowledge and developing communication across sectors. Susanne strives to build trust, thus fostering innovation. As a member of Cambiana’s core team, Susanne provides creative techniques together with strong teambuilding and networking expertise.
With her international background (Austrian mother, American father), and having lived and studied in both Japan and Taiwan, Susanne has a broad experience and deep understanding of issues that can arise from cultural difference. Growing up in Alaska (with summers in Austria and Italy) also gifted her with an excellent perspective on US-American values.
Having relocated her business to Munich in 2008, Susanne now develops and delivers intercultural seminars and workshops for a variety of concerns worldwide. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the Applied Sciences University of Munich for Intercultural Communication. Susanne is able to train in both English and German.
Susanne holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Relations through Antioch University, OH, and the Intercultural Communication Institute (ICI) and is a professional coach having trained at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), with certification through the International Coaches Federation (ICF).
Philosophy: Transformation happens when you have energised involvement and a focus on success. I am passionate about the three C’s – curiosity, culture and connection – and believe wholeheartedly in exploring the unfamiliar so that I can integrate it!
