New teams are often expected to develop a common vision and build their own identity as key success factors in accomplishing their mission. Part of this process happens naturally as the team grows across diverse challenges, e.g. in collaboration with the environment or through reaching their goals. Most of the time this process is unconscious and the outcomes remain implicitly shared by team members – team culture may be present but it is not necessarily visible and is thus not focused on creating the necessary foundations that will push the team further and raise performance.
Understanding the corporate vision and integrating it into a team vision around which the team identity is built can be a challenging exercise, especially when team members are under severe operational pressure. In order to achieve these objectives, it might be necessary to activate other parts of the brain to initiate a mindset shift.
In this two-day workshop, participants will use creativity as a way to connect with themselves and team members, and to reconnect with their business environment at a deeper level in order to develop a common vision. The process will be structured yet flowing and will involve the creation of both individual and team-based artwork.
- Individualise team contributions to create a common vision
- Humanise technology and business communication practices to foster team culture
- Activate right brain thinking
